Robbie Bennetts has an extensive background in building and managing businesses around the world.
In 1996 Robbie founded the Australian financial services group, Professional Investment Holdings Ltd (PIH). Just nine years later, the Australian arm of the company had grown to become the country’s largest financial planning group with over 1,000 locations.
From the year 2000, it also expanded overseas with the purchase of financial services businesses in Singapore, New Zealand, Malaysia and Canada, with smaller operations in China and Hong Kong.
In 2006, 2007 and 2010, industry publications, IFA and Money Management magazines named Robbie along with Australia’s Treasurer, Head Regulator and Major Bank CEO’s as one of Australia’s 10 most influential people in financial services. In business Robbie has won many awards including the Russell Investment Group Global Award for Innovation and Development and was the Northern Region Winner of the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year competition.
In 2010, PIH merged with a listed company ending Robbie’s role as Chief Executive Officer.
Retirement seemed to be calling, however….
In 2012 Robbie started a new business and entered the technology world. He was shortly joined by Shannon Overs and onPlatinum ICT was born.
While onPlatinum ICT was still in its formative stages, Robbie invested in and consulted to a number of other projects, one in manufacturing industrial caravans (Vansite). Today Vansite as well as manufacturing for the market, has a fleet of 200 industrial caravans that are hired out too many different sectors including mining, construction and road works. He also invested in online betting (Betgold). Vansite and Betgold operate today with more than 50 staff with Robbie retaining above 20% in both.
Robbie also invested and consulted to Concourse Technology, that went on to be the world leader in wheelchair technology. In 2025 the disability component of the business was sold to the world’s largest disability player, the German company Sunrise.
In 2022 onPlatinum was sold to the Australian stock exchange company Comms Group.
Through the transaction Robbie became one of the top ten shareholders in Comms Group and remains happy at that level.
Robbie and his wife Sheree have other investments and properties in Australia and the USA.
Robbie and Sheree have significant equity in O2 4 Life Holdings.
O24 Life is a Gold Coast Australia based company progressing to a more global reach with the USA operation expected to be operational and selling product by March 2026.

Robbie has been a company director on 36 boards in nine countries. Robbie and Sheree have two wonderful daughters and five grandchildren.
Robbie has a passion for golf that knows no boundaries.
His other highlights outside of family include an award for 21 outstanding years as a football player and listed in the 50-year Team of Champions at his home club and the privilege and honour of carrying the Olympic Torch for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
